Welcome to L1410 Helium Liquefier Blog
This blog is about the operation and maintenance of the Linde 1410 Helium liquefier located at the Physics Institute in UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro).
Our liquefier was installed 7 years ago with the main purpose to replace an old 1410 system from 70's. While the old system achieved 10L/hr with liquid nitrogen pre-cooling, the specs for the new one is 15L/hr.
Since the beginning, the new system has stopped several times for maintenance and in order to have notes for the new technician and maybe for other users we decided to create this blog.
